Legislative Advocacy and Administrative Policy Consulting

Assist clients with strategy, development of legislation, collateral materials, direct lobbying and facilitate access to Congress and the Administration.

Organize Capitol Hill educational briefings and “Lobby Days” and/or work directly with clients’ local members to continue engaging them after their “Lobby Days.”

Provide strategy and support with Administrative policymaking and rules.

Funding and Budget Advocacy

Work to secure funding in support of clients’ interests, both state formula grants and discretionary programs.

Local Policy Consulting

Work with local affiliates on issue such as charitable deduction and tax provisions related to exempt organizations. The firm’s Principal has also worked with state agencies and local advocates in the areas of education and health.

Coalition Building

Develop relationships with clients’ allies, form coalitions in support of clients’ legislative agenda, and represent clients’ interests in existing coalitions.

Advocacy Training

Help empower clients by providing training to their stakeholders on how to lobby legislators and the rules around lobbying vs. advocacy.

Fundraising

Assist clients with writing and reviewing materials to support their advocacy and policy campaigns for case statements, grant writing, front-line fundraising of major gift donors, and stewardship reports.
